Before you join

Questions people ask before they join.

No. Each seat works on a computer, phone, or tablet. For VR, bring your own Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S, Quest Pro. Download the VR Study Trips app, sideload it, and pair the headset with one of your seats. If you would rather not set anything up, add a VR-ready headset. We install the app before it ships, and it arrives charged and already paired.

The $50 one-time fee applies only to headsets you buy from us. It covers configuring the device, installing and signing in to the app, pairing it to your membership, and testing it before it ships. Bringing your own headset is free.

Yes. Add seats from your account page any time; you pay a prorated amount for the rest of the current year and the new seats renew with the others. Reducing seats takes effect at your next renewal.

Your seats keep working through the last day of the paid year. After that, the library is no longer available until you renew. Anything you bought a la carte stays in your account. Headsets you purchased are yours regardless.

If the membership is not right for you, tell us within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. Headset purchases follow our returns policy.

Each paired headset uses one seat. Set the class headsets to Teacher Control, open the teacher guide, and choose Present. The headsets you select load each slide with you: play, pause, and move to the next site for that group. Headsets left on User Control are for someone watching on their own. If every seat is in use, add a seat before pairing another headset. A class on computers uses the same seats with no headset. Step by step.

Yes. A headset you buy from us is a standard Meta Quest and it is yours to keep, use for other apps, or return under the returns policy. The membership is per seat, not per device, so you can retire a headset and pair a new one to the same seat.

Yes. New study trips and lessons are added to the library and are included on every seat at no extra cost. You can also keep buying individual trips a la carte if you prefer not to join.
