Returns & Money-Back Guarantee

We want a membership to be an easy decision. If VR Study Trips is not right for you or your group, tell us within 14 days and we will refund it.
1. Membership money-back guarantee
- What is covered. The first payment for a new membership (any number of seats).
- Window. 14 days from the date of that first payment.
- How. Email info@vrstudytrips.com from the account email, or use the contact form. No reason is required.
- What happens. We refund the membership payment in full to the original payment method and end the membership immediately. Paired headsets lose access to the library at that point.
- Renewals. Renewal payments are not covered by the guarantee. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues through the end of the paid year and the membership will not renew. We email a reminder 30 days before each renewal.
- Added seats. Prorated charges for seats added mid-year follow the renewal rule above; remove seats from your account page to stop paying for them at the next renewal.
2. Purchased VR-ready headsets
- Window. Return a headset within 30 days of delivery.
- Condition. Undamaged, in working order, with the original box, controllers, cables, and accessories. Headsets showing damage, missing parts, or signs of use beyond inspection may be refused or refunded at a reduced amount.
- Refund. The headset price is refunded to the original payment method once we receive and inspect the return. The one-time setup fee and original shipping are refunded only when the headset is returned unopened or when the return is because of our error or a defect.
- Return shipping. We provide a prepaid return label for defective or incorrect items. For all other returns, return shipping is your responsibility.
- Defects and warranty. Manufacturer defects within the manufacturer's warranty period are handled through the headset manufacturer's warranty; contact us first and we will help you start the claim.
- Ownership. Headsets you buy are yours to keep. Returning or ending a membership never requires you to return a purchased headset.
3. Individual study trip purchases and events
Digital study trips bought individually are delivered immediately and are non-refundable once the content has been started. Teacher-led event tickets follow the refund terms shown on the event page at the time of purchase.
4. Legacy "Study Trip in a Box" rentals
Headset rentals are no longer offered. If you have a rental headset from a past order, the return instructions that shipped with the box still apply. Contact us if you need a replacement return label.
5. Timing
Approved refunds are issued within 5 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take a further 5–10 business days to post the credit.
